Godbold Construction is a company founded by two young and aspiring construction professionals.  Created on March 21, 2005, the company consists of two principal corporate officers:  Scott Godbold and Sean McGillis.  Scott graduated cum laude from Rollins College with a major in political science, while Sean graduated from the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida.  We also have an extensive construction background of over 25 years.  Scott has built multi-family, single family and condo products for large production builders. He has also spent a great deal of time in commercial construction.  Sean has worked for one of the nation’s largest homebuilders on both condominium and townhome projects.   After working for these builders, we were eager for a new challenge.  With our education, experience and attitude we were

sure our business venture would be a success.  Together, we make an experienced, smart, and aggressive construction team eager to achieve our goals.

Godbold Construction prides itself in building affordable, quality products while providing exceptional personal service.  We have realized the advantages in not growing our company beyond our ability to keep a hands-on approach with every project.  We believe profitability and quality are both sacrificed when the scope of the company grows beyond the owner’s ability to manage it.  We have proven the merit of this approach through our past projects which consist of new custom home construction, additions, major home remodels, and tenant build-outs.
